These patties can be incorporated into so many meals, you can put them into a burger, a salad or just enjoy it on its own. There are two ways to make these patties, the patties here have a steamed rice flour crumble, aka “puttu” which is a Tamil dish. (Stay tuned for that recipe)
Or a simpler way to make these patties is to sub in breadcrumbs or ripped up bread. You can’t go wrong with these patties as long as the consistency is the same!

Ingredients
1 can sweet chili tuna
3/4 cup breadcrumbs or puttu
1 egg
1 small red onion, chopped
1 tsp oil
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp chili powder
Instructions
In a bowl beat the egg and add in the remaining ingredients until a thick consistency is formed.
Shape mixture into balls and then flatten. Place patties in the freezer for 15 mins.
In a pan under medium heat with olive oil, fry patties for 3 minutes on each side. Enjoy!
