HEALTHY FRENCH TOAST

This treat of a breakfast is sweet, delicious and is so easy to prep! With orange juice and honey to sweeten and berries and powdered sugar on top, it’s the perfect sweet breakfast without the guilt. Enjoy!

Ingredients

2 slices of bread (whole wheat)

1 egg

1/4 cup cashew milk

2 tbsp orange juice

1/4 tsp vanilla extract

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tbsp honey

2 tbsp coconut oil

Toppings: berries and powdered sugar


Instructions

In a bowl, mix together the egg, cashew milk, orange juice, cinnamon, vanilla and honey. Pour mixture onto a plate and place the bread on top.

Allow to soak for 2 minutes on each side.

Put coconut oil on a pan with medium heat and toast bread for about 3 minutes on each side.

Top it off with some berries and powdered sugar. Enjoy!
