Ingredients
Dough:
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 tbsp baking powder
2 tbsp white sugar
1/2 tsp salt
4 tbsp cold unsalted butter
1 cup of milk
Filling:
4 tbsp melted unsalted butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 tbsp cinnamon
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375.
Combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Add in cold butter and cut through with a fork until the butter/flour has a coarse texture. Add in milk and kneed for 5 mins.
Roll out dough onto a well floured surface.
Mix together melted butter, vanilla, brown sugar and cinnamon. Spread mixture on top of dough. Roll the dough and slice the roll 1 inch apart. Place rolls into a baking tray and bake for 25 mins.
